Burnout & Work Stress Therapy

You don’t have to keep pushing through exhaustion.

Burnout often develops quietly—through constant pressure, emotional exhaustion, perfectionism, or feeling responsible for everything. You might notice irritability, low energy, detachment, or difficulty truly resting.

When Burnout Shows Up

You might notice this as:

  • Feeling exhausted no matter how much you rest

  • Struggling to turn your mind off, even outside of work

  • Feeling irritable, detached, or emotionally drained

  • Losing motivation for things you used to care about

  • Feeling like you’re always “on” or responsible for everything

  • Having difficulty slowing down without feeling guilty

Even when you recognize the burnout, it can still feel difficult to step out of the cycle.

In Therapy, We Will:

• Identify the emotional and physical signs of burnout
• Explore patterns of perfectionism, over-functioning, and people-pleasing
• Interrupt chronic stress and overwork cycles
• Establish healthier boundaries around work and responsibilities
• Restore emotional energy, balance, and internal stability

Burnout often improves when you finally have space to slow down and reflect. Therapy provides a supportive place to understand what led to the exhaustion and begin rebuilding a more sustainable way of living.
