Meet Mae
Therapy is one of the few places where you don’t have to hold everything together.
I offer a steady, grounded presence where you can feel understood and not have to carry it all on your own. My work is especially helpful for people who are ready to move beyond coping and start making sense of what’s driving their experiences and relationships.
I provide online therapy for adults and couples across Virginia, Maine, Connecticut, and Vermont. As a solo practitioner, I offer a more personal, consistent experience—one where I truly get to know you over time.
In our work together, we slow things down and take an honest look at what’s been weighing on you.
Who I Work With
People often come to therapy during seasons that feel heavier than expected — times of anxiety, relationship strain, burnout, grief, trauma, or major changes.
Many of my clients are high-achieving adults who appear steady on the outside but privately feel depleted, overwhelmed, or unsure how to slow down.
I also work with couples who want to reconnect, communicate more effectively, and better understand what’s happening within their relationship.
No matter what brings you here, the common thread is this:
You’re ready to move beyond just getting through the day and start feeling more present in your life.
My Approach
Therapy should be tailored to you — not forced into a one-size-fits-all approach.
Your story, identity, and experiences matter. I draw from several evidence-based approaches and adapt them to fit you — not the other way around.
My style is warm, steady, and engaged. I create an environment where you can be fully yourself, where difficult emotions can be explored honestly, and where growth happens at a pace that feels natural and sustainable.
Clients often describe our work as thoughtful, practical, and deeply human.
Why I Do This Work
I created this practice because I believe therapy should be a place where you can finally exhale.
Where your emotions are understood, your experiences are respected, and your growth feels both possible and supported.
Walking alongside people as they reconnect with themselves and build healthier relationships is the most meaningful part of what I do.
