Fees & Insurance
Understanding the cost of therapy and how insurance works can feel confusing. My goal is to keep this process as clear and transparent as possible so you know what to expect before scheduling.
Private Pay:
Some clients prefer to pay privately rather than using insurance. Private pay allows therapy to remain focused on your goals without the documentation and treatment restrictions often required by insurance companies.
-
$185 per clinical hour
-
$250 per clinical hour for weekends or off-hours
Payment is accepted through major credit cards and most HSA/FSA cards.

Graceful Changes Psychotherapy is in-network with several commercial insurance plans across Virginia, Maine, Connecticut, and Vermont.

Graceful Changes Psychotherapy is not currently in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.

Out-of-Network Benefits:
If your insurance plan offers reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services, a Superbill can be provided after each session for you to submit to your insurance company.
Reimbursement is determined by your insurance provider and is not guaranteed, so it is recommended that you confirm your out-of-network benefits in advance.
